Our History
1912
It was 1912 when, in Milan, the Sozzi brothers began producing silk and Lisle cotton socks. With careful and passionate manual craftsmanship, they satisfied the desires of gentlemen and refined ladies, associating their signature with a guarantee of quality and refined elegance.
1945
After the dark years of the two world wars, the company chose to specialize in the production of men's socks. The best natural materials are selected to make them, carefully processed to create excellent accessories that quickly become the pride of the brand.
1990
The Sock Factory goes through subsequent decades reaching an extraordinary maturity that allows the company to thrive through immediately recognizable quality appreciated by increasingly loyal customers. Sozzi Milano's mission is as simple as it is ambitious: to transform an apparently ordinary accessory like men's socks into an authentic style statement, an element capable of reflecting the character of the refined man wearing it. The Sock Factory experiences the transition to the new millennium with the company helm in the hands of Franco Sozzi, son and grandson of the founders, determined to preserve and enhance the excellence that embodies the philosophy and identity of a brand that has become historic.
2018
In 2018, the Sock Factory was acquired by the Ciocca group, which understood the invaluable worth of a century-old experience and inherited the commitment to seeking precious yarns and increasingly refined processing. After more than a century since the creation of the first pair of Sozzi-branded socks, the company's products continue to prove themselves as small masterpieces of craftsmanship and artisanal talent: the quality of materials meets meticulous management of all production phases, and traditional processing combines with the most innovative machinery for absolutely extraordinary results.
